MARTHA FIERRO

Martha Elena Fierro is a Houstonian, Texas-raised, proudly American Latina running for U.S. Congress in Texas’ 29th District. She knows the value of hard work and the promise of the American Dream—and is ready to fight for families across our community.
As Director of Texas Rotunda Prayer & Worship, Martha partners with over 200 churches and ministries across Houston, helping communities engage in government and defend faith and freedom.
Married to her husband Francisco for over 31 years, she is the proud mother of five conservative children raised on faith, responsibility, and grit. A first-generation college graduate with two degrees from the University of Houston, Martha began working at 19 as a Healthcare worker at the Texas Medical Center.
Founder of the SheSpoke mentoring program and a bilingual minister, Martha fights for life, family, veterans, vulnerable communities, and the First Amendment—bringing real-world experience and fearless leadership to Congress.

Her journey from student to community leader is fueled by a relentless commitment to service and a deep belief that every voice deserves a champion in Washington. Martha understands the struggles of working families because she has lived them, and she is ready to bring her bold vision and proven leadership to Congress.

Martha’s heart is rooted in the community. Each week, she educates and equips local leaders, empowering them to actively engage in local, state, and federal issues. She believes that the responsibility of every American citizen is to stay informed, pay attention, and participate in the conversations that shape our shared future.
Through her leadership, Martha has connected and mobilized students, local leaders, churches, and pastoral groups to organize food drives, lead Get Out The Vote (GOTV) efforts, and testify in the halls of government. She is committed to turning conviction into action and ensuring that everyday voices are heard where decisions are made.

Martha has mentored dozens of small business owners and championed policies that drive job creation and strengthen local economic stability. She works to connect entrepreneurs with community leaders, helping foster partnerships that expand opportunity.
Martha also advocates for the creation of internships and fellowships, ensuring students and young professionals have clear pathways into the workforce and long-term career success.
Martha has years of experience building bipartisan coalitions to deliver real results for families and communities.
She organized over 20 volunteers to host 40+ food drives in 2020 and 2021, serving more than 200 families at each event. She mobilized students, pastors, and parents to testify before the Texas State Board of Education on curriculum matters and helped activate worship leaders and families across Texas to advocate in support of the Texas Heartbeat legislation.
Martha has also supported grassroots efforts to protect girls’ sports and uphold faith expression in schools. She believes leadership means showing up, speaking up, and standing firm for the community.
